Howl’s Moving Castle

I read the book this film when I was a child, in fact, was probably the first book I read. He was so charming and I remember falling hopelessly in love with the character howl. Books like that stay with you long time, so that even now, 20 years, I remember with very fond memories indeed.

Anyway, it was a dream come true when Jonathan Ross said his release on the big screen. Of course not Howl s Moving Castle remember the story as if I had read the book yesterday, but most of Saturday was very good to me. Its an oddball of a story - but as with the book that captured the front.

The characters were rich and chew. I can not fault in any way.

But please, do not see the movie until you have read the book … It is a wonderful book, and should not be replaced by an animated film.

I guarantee you thank me for it.

Take a journey with 70’s nostalgia and Muttley ruin in vain as they try to “catch the pigeon ‘. The Wacky RACES spin-off, Dick dastardly - sports rather dubious handlebar mustache - leads the Vulture Squadron, a ragtag group of characters whose sole purpose, apparently, is to stop a carrier pigeon from delivering messages to the other side. Using a variety Dastardly And Muttley - Vol.2 the First World War aircraft equipped with strange contraptions and ridiculous, cowardly will stop at nothing to catch his avian nemesis.

Throughout his trip is the snickering canine companion Muttley, who fancies himself a bit of a heroic figure, and often withdrew to his own fantasy world. Features the legendary vocal talents of Paul Winchell (Tigger) and Don Messick (Scooby-Doo).

Condorman

Condorman I’ve seen this in movies as a child and loved it. Well it is a little cheesy but very good entertainment. What I am dissapointed with this release (2006) was on this day and age of domain etc, this is pityful.

It’s so grainy in places almost Unwatch. Its wide … yes but so wide you can not do a lot of it because of grainyness.

The sound is Dolby 2.0, but why not do the usual 5.1 remastering? There is nothing, not even a trailer! I think Disney wanted a quick buck because this deserves treatment, not very very poor attempt!

The Chronicles Of Narnia - The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe I had been waiting for this since I saw it advertised last Christmas, and I was not disappointed. The book has been my favorite since childhood, and I held my breath as Lucy pushed through the fur coats until he found the light in the forest. This film adaptation is the best book I have ever seen, hardly surprising when you realize that the producer is CS

Lewis stepson. The landscape is impressive, the characters credible and for me, was how I always imagined that Narnia. Truly magical.

I just wish they had done ‘The Magicians Nephew “first.

Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire Harry Potter is a little more last minute and a little more self-awareness, especially in front of the girl fantasies - finally, something he can not solve with a wave of his magic wand! Best companions Ron and Hermione are also experiencing what is commonly called “teenage angst”. Harry the inclusion in the Tri-Wizard tournament and the death defying tasks that must carry the entire movie for the most part.

New characters such as “Mad-Eye ‘Moody and Barty Crouch (Jnr and Snr) - the latter two are played by the new Doctor Who and activation of only fools and horses, hold your interest for the times we are in the screen. And to anyone who can remember back this far, Miss Jones moisture has a role too.

Still prefer instead of Richard Harris Michael Gambon in the role of Dumbledore and the third film has a few knocks, but this is still very watchable. As for the next film, the fifth book was almost a thousand pages - the conjecture to the duration of the film will be?

Finding Nemo An instant classic, the usual mix of great animation, great story, wonderful colors and music, jokes, excitement and celebrity Voiceovers (Ellen Gender emerges as Dory). Children of any age can see, but can find the beginning of a bit afraid because it is a shark eat fish world, and the animation leaves you in little doubt as to how Nemo ends with a single parent.

But do not let that put you off - while the smaller ones and are waiting to be about a boy and his father, against the life little adventures together, all right.

Spirited Away What can I say - OUTSTANDING / AMAZING / exciting … Perfect … I saw this on Sunday with my 5 years and 2.5 years of age, girls … He was a little surprised, scared, excited and wonder - the 5 years of age was only cpatured and catipulted in the spirit world - seemed to derive their own sub-plot of this movie and I’m definitely going to buy it for them … My girl just to see an animation of Disney rather than 2 hours. However, this had been glued to your seat … It is very imaginative and there’s so much for the adults in this I could not even begin to open your soul and explain the wonders of it …

Lindsay Lohan normally shines on the screen, but I am afraid that this time it falls flat on its face. You can not base a movie around such a character completely the development of other characters for her to shine out. Especially when it is so poorly written in the first pill that Lohan plays Alison place.Poor Confessions Of A Teenage Drama Queen companion type cast was terrible, and I suspect he may look back at this with a regret. If you are a Lohan fan, then I am sure you can get some enjoyment, but most people are disappointed with what seems nothing more than a fashion parade.Rent Lohan Mean Girls, is much better.

After being my favorite book of all time as a child I was desperate to see this movie. That did not disappoint at all. It was brought beautiful memories and magical as the book.

Much better than the Harry Potter movies that bored me in some The Chronicles Of Narnia - The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe places. What is even better after Rading the story to my children absolutely loved the fim too much that my child didn’t dare go to the bathroom in case you missed some, Cannot wait to come out on DVD so you can see again and again again

Ratatouille

After this movie will love rats :-) Well, maybe not love but are in a different light. Countryt Rat (Remy) who live with their Father who is the head of the rat and his brother and hundreds of rats have been turning to the streets after our hero falls ill of the old house of the woman who is living Remy loves food, no that’s not correct, Remy loves food, but only the good things (not like the rest of the mice) and loves to watch cooking, Ratatouille made by his cooking hero, (Gusteau).

So much so that the benefits of the knowledge of how to cook and what happens with food. What happens after you have to see the film, but suffice to say, moving to the streets brings its own share of problems Remy.

It is a charming film that children and adults, and (nice cameo by Peter O’Toole). Definitely worth seeing, as everyone has already said, the animation is simply wonderful, (see the beginning of the film when it rains and the leaves move with the wind, incredible).

Polar Express

Director Robert Zemeckis revolutionized the art of animated film in 1998 WHO Framed Roger Rabbit cartoons by falling in the same frame with flesh and blood actors. In the Polar Express, live action and animation have merged seamlessly, resulting in sparkling super-realism. A landmark technique Zemeckis and his Sony Pictures Imageworks team call Performance Capture perfectly suits the content of this wonderful children’s Christmas story by Chris Van Allsburg.

A little disappointed boy just old enough to doubt the existence of Santa Claus, has the adventure of his life one fateful Christmas Eve. Dressed in his pajamas, climbs aboard a magic train to the North Pole, driven by a kindly train conductor (voiced by Polar Express Tom Hanks, who starred in the two-Award winning film by the Academy Zemeckis (Forrest Gump and Castaway). Among many jaw-dropping moments, the train plummets brakeless through crystalline mountains in a simulated roller coaster.

Go off the rails, skidding sideways, and snaking violently across a frozen lake, the train reaches the North Pole (a large, bright city of brick buildings). At that time, the car carrying the children were separated and sent down never-ending chutes and slides until they land in downtown Santa Workshop. With its fascinating history and impressive technical frolics, THE POLAR EXPRESS is destined to become a holiday classic and a new turning point in the art of animated film.
