Romance and Cigarettes is a strange and wonderful tale of the working class of New York, where love, (in) fidelity, redemption and all the implications collide. The songs are not at all ill or dominant (as I had feared) but rather in very dark and always gloriously surreal.

Kate Winslet is terrific as the slightly unhinged, very Northern temptation to fast-talking James Gandolfini perfectly imperfect sympathy and inspiring character. As a true testament to the man himself is not at all typecast by his Sopranos fame, and offers a brilliant understated performance, the use of comedy and tragedy without seeming to have to try that hard.

I believe that ultimately the only way to describe this film is not in terms of what happens, a kaleidoscopic fusion of random events and cabaret, but by how it makes you feel happy, sad, confused, inspired. A great cast, a large direct an amazing movie.

“Catch Me If You Can” everything seems a little too outlandish until you realize that is a true story. How can this man manages to do things he does? The film shows the latest artist at work, having a good time living the high life and is an enjoyable film.

It is encouraging to hear that only reported a fact? 20,000 in royalties from this film and which advises the state in white-collar crime. Tom Hanks has a good role as the detective who will not be happy until he reaches his man and Leo DiCaprio puts in a good performance trying to avoid being caught!

He did eventually but it took time and left a few red faces!

When I heard that Frank Oz was redone, I had a flutter of excitement. I like the lord of Oz other work, his comedy is often subversive, mild and really did not strike until long after you’ve seen his movies.

However, I was a little disappointed with this. The film starts very strong and not at all I remember the original Stepford Wives, so I have not been sucked in immediately.

But they tend to kind of glue out of there. It is still an enjoyable experience and I recommend it, but not with great force.

I think the key element that the movie is missing is that it is not sinister enough.

This film has everything …. I mean everything. Great actors, great script …..

it’ll make you laugh and it’ll make you mourn. It’s pure genius.

Let’s name some of the actors in this film! Christian Slater, Patricia Arquette, Gary Oldman, Dennis Hopper, Val Kilmer, Christopher Walken, Brad Pitt, Samuel L. Jackson …..

blah, blah, blah, the list goes on. Now do not misunderstand me.

Many of these names known only a few minutes on screen, but trust me when I say that these are a few minutes …. well …. genius.

My personal favorite is a scene of Walken and Hopper (I do not want to ruin it, I could not )…. but it really is something special. This film is a series of remembered quote (and if you can not remember that he was learning to tell your friends )…..

honestly, you will. The theme song of the movie is perfect. You are guaranteed to recognize it.

Hans Zimmer! I friend introduced me to this film and when I presented to you, I hope, but know that secretly submitted to the other.

This is obviously a highly acclaimed film and had never seen in its entirety so I thought I would check it out … and boy was I disappointed. I just do not get why it is so acclaimed.

Perhaps it has not aged well. I saw it as hiking, 3 hours long mish mass of different segments of history that will combine well.

You have an introductory segment on the town houses the main characters, and then the “Vietnam War”, and then return to war section. Just seemed that there was no sense of direction to the story: Al Like the director said ‘these are the parts of the story, work it out. “I suppose it was a powerful film, when the war in Vietnam was a very emotional issue, but that all seems a bit sense now. Well, I guess out there that the burden will disagree with me, but this is my take on it … check for yourself … you will never forget the scenes of Russian roulette!

I would say that if you’re a fan of Quentin Tarrantino then this is the movie is about. Reservoir Dogs forgetting, as good as this movie was hands down times. You can see the elements in this film that gave birth to something epic ‘Kill Bill’ (not as an epic blockbuster trilogies more currently bound by our throat whether we want).

This is Quentin Tarrantino at its best. Consider this, this film gave both Bruce Willis and John Travolta and his chance to compare what they have done lately. Just shows how great a director he is.

Two words, sitting, and two others, and enjoy.
