I did not know what was around before you hire than it was a little surprised by the topic. It tells the story of a freedom peadophile trying to return to society while struggling with his “urges”. This film has a high “squirm” factor and makes it very uncomfortable for the visualization of fact.

The story is said the offenders point of view and torture centers on a character played by Kevin Bacon. Gives a good, understated performance by itself and this is my reason for the three stars. Frankly, I do not really want to see films, saying such harsh reality.

But then again, maybe that point is increasing ..

This movie bothered me - the story is about a subject of deep concern. The majority of viewers complained about the film was a very bad way, just turn shifts.

I agree and disagree here, yes, seeing the movie you know who ‘dunnit way, but I loved the early pace. In my eyes it really time to resist the bad guys and feel repulsed by the idea of what they did to poor girls. Richard Gere is slowed a little too, but often find it perfect for these roles.

Maybe he did not put in a good performance, but just made the paper. Claire Danes does not impress me in this film.

What kind of getting used to the idea that the eye candy above all. The first 80 minutes of the film are fairly decent in my eyes, but the last 20 minutes were a little disappointed.

That seemed a little over the top. Still I did not like what you lost!

I’ve seen “Betty Blue” the same day I saw this film and I became more than 9 songs (not that that is why the film, I know). The problems with this film did not result from the sexual explicitness (although an increase eyebrow), come from the fact that, while Winterbottom had the balls (excuse the pun) to deal with such clarity, that completely ignores the development of an interesting narrative proper. What could have been a very sensual between two strangers with a common interest in attending rock concerts.

That’s what I thought this would be like the movie. You know, the same meeting over and over again in what is actually an incredibly chaotic setting, and without knowing what they are, to be irresistible to them whenever I saw them in the concert audience.

Which is a lights, it is sensual, it is interesting and goes to show soo much sex on screen. But watching this film, you feel like you’re flipping channels between a BBC documentary on Antarctica, a film art that can not be bothered to spice up the sex scenes with any sense of privacy, and a piece of bad VHS recording shot by a fan of rock music. What makes it worse is that sex can be read as a teenager’s biggest w ** k fantasy.

In every scene of sex it’s the cries of women, and his American accent whispering “f ** k me”, and the male rate is not sufficient to make an audible orgasm. Just wish that a filmmaker who had the balls to do a movie with real sex in it soo much, I really had a brain to think with their scriptwriting skills, opposed to their 16 years of age d ** CK!

a film that has no substance, no meaning and narrative unengaging characters.What was the director trying to exploit in his audience, this was an exercise in watching paint dry, certainly felt like it. A film about two lovers who explore the depths of its meaning amd physical attraction and experimentation might have a better treatment.

have made sense of curiosity and intrigue, we want our characters to reveal more than we were a themselves.What dimensional plane and dull. Plot is integral to our lives, no matter how chaotic and apparently hiding it may seem, is a form of exposure. One author who knows and uses it to attract your audience.

If you want to watch a porn film sex, if you have ethical problems with which to obtain an instruction video sex.

I rented this in the back is in very Solondz 2 other films (happiness and stories). I can honestly say I was totally disappointed.

Using multiple actresses playing the part of the main character was confusing at first and more useless. It was not me that was the subject of this film - That simply will not work and I was really tempted to change if half the management, but to stick out till the end.

There were some funny moments, but overall I do not recommend this, even if you’re a fan of Solondz’s earlier work (like me).

Sorry, but I’m going to disagree with another reviewer here. I found this film a very successful treatment of the subject.

There are some moments of doubt scandalous sexual and physical abuse, but hardly sit next to the romantic and non-manipulation of the story-line. Here we have all the usual suspects: the good to eat again combating stereotypes clerics teacher (a well-intentioned but ineffective religious leader, a sadistic killer pedophile and homosexual), while gaining confidence in front of their expenses and make the best. I’m not disputing that the film is based on truth or the reality of life in these fortunately outdated institutions often heartbreaking.

Nor that the church has its own nature unsatisfactory handling of such problems within it, composed mainly kept hidden as long as possible, then go out to the culprits when it blows off the lid. However, it deserves better treatment in this film, most of which has a Hollywood-esque glow emitted during the process that makes the key scenes of brutality and almost seem to incongrous there rather less effect shock.

A missed opportunity - not a bad movie, but a mediocre could have been a much better Starker, less sentimental treatment.

I’m not normally a fan of Slasher films, but this movie had great reviews on this I decided to give it a chance and I have to agree! American Slasher films never seemed real to me you never engage with them, I feel like can never happen to me. [also appear to follow a formula that can normally pickout victims in the order they are going to die] This film however does not seem very real [I kept forgetting to breathe so great was the suspense!] was a little disappointed at the end [but rather] without giving anything away, it is difficult to fit at the end of the chain of events you just witnessed. Very scary movie
