I rented this with high expectations, being a big fan of Robin Williams / Nathan Lane / Gene Hackman remake (The Birdcage). It is amazing to see how much had been literally taken directly from the original remake, even Albin / Albert ’s screams!

But I fear, in the end I prefer the remake (though the son of this version is great). Perhaps it is because quite dated in places, which is certainly not because it is in French (subtitles to catch and humor). And I was expecting to be different, is less optimistic than the remake and gives a little to feel the bitter end of the film.

I am glad that I’ve seen, but not buy it (while the remake is one of my favorite “movies to my delight).

Yes, we all know that the words we all sang in Junior School, but we have all seen the movie? It appears in every Boxing Day on BBC2, incredulously enough but never seen (I am 28, not as I have lived in the 60s).

Now I am a huge Beatles fan, love and hard day’s Night, Help! Magical Mystery Tour and I thought well, I know that I will stick my list on Yellow Submarine.

If Beatles fan you will know that a sound is a bit dubious, murderer of a hand, the other fillers (including songs on side A Yellow Submarine, your mother should know, Hey Bulldog to name a few, in the instrumental music B side) so I thought the movie would be about the same. After all, the story goes that the Beatles were not too chuffed with the idea of a caricature, and only pledged their allegiance to him after the event. The premise of the film is that the Beatles (good) have to overcome the Blue Meanies (ill) and restore order to Pepperland.

Sounds simple enough, but not if it is 1968 and that may or may not have a lot of LSD during production. It is full of a bunch of classics from the Beatles to sing along with Lucy, as in the sky with diamonds, Eleanor Rigby and Yellow Submarine, obviously, (I can guarantee that the final swings in their seats singing) It’s a funny movie not most of the plots, but it’s a cartoon, after all, and offers a fascinating overview of the 60 life in all its psychedelic glory. I do not? Do not say you need to be a fan to enjoy the Beatles, but I’m sure that helps.

If you are playing with this by sticking to the list, well, you won? No regret! Boxing Day, and in 2004 around and see that Yellow Submarine is on BBC2, I know I’ll be sitting on my couch, mince pie in one hand, glass of Bailey? S in the other. Fortunately you do not have to wait until then, go to add to your list now!

The cannibalistic family in the road with their mobile kitchen van - perfect for making chile! Dennis Hopper is the sheriff of a Texas hunting and Caroline Williams is the unfortunate women caught in the middle of everything, and caught in the sights of Leatherface - is not as if he wants his slice and dice. … This movie is so great on many levels. which does not allow too serious, but at the same time, tries hard to develop the psychotic personalities families even more.

You will see more of Leatherface in thios movie any other.The highlight of the whole film is the ridiculously cool chainsaw duel with Leatherface Dennis Hopper battling head to head in the family dinner table in a Junkyard, jabbing and parrying as was wait a sword fight.Don not wait to take this film seriously, and if the way the first film being left in the dark about leaving the family, then this film may not be the best for you …

Those who have taken and understood in the work of films such as Memento and the acclaimed and controversial French movie irreversible, is a refreshing change to the formula here. Unlike the movies, 21 grams did not show scenes of your order back, but manages to mix all the scenes like a deck of cards.

Going backward, forward, further back, and then slightly forward. And while doing so, you can see scenes involving the main characters played by Benitio Del Toro, Sean Penn and Naomi Watts, individually and together in happy times, sad times, difficult times and any time relevant to the plot. During the beginning of the film is based on the viewer, and then poured scenes that are offered in disjointed and seemingly pointless, fashion.

With a degree of concentration, viewers can get through the first scenes with a sense, but patience is needed before they can understand the strange, but credible link between the three characters. The actions of all actors are first rate - both Naomi Watts and Benicio Del Toro were nominated but not winning, Best Actress / Actor gongs at the Oscars this in 2003.

(Sean Penn is not lost this year - won a best actor Oscar for Mystic River). Watts is the most convincing performance. A film that can not live long in the memory, but worth seeing and absorbing a couple of hours.

Another surprising turn of decent acting ex wrestler ‘The Rock’, although not exactly the same stretch! This film is exactly what it promises, and does so in a way that is encouraging the initiative in the interior throughout the period. Small town boy comes home after having served his country and is given the ‘Rambo’ treatment …

In total, the only drawback is that a film is simply too short - only 1 hours 20 minutes!

It took me about 4 attempts to finish seeing this movie. I think you have to be a SP or MP or DC fan to stay until the bitter end.I am interested in SP and its relationship to T Hughes. The film shows how depression can be lonely and the disastrous consequences in relations.

Think it was a very SP difficult to live, but then again Hughes always had an eye for the ladies is not as guilty of outcome.Because the film does not attribute guilt is well done and subtle in places that you can get an idea of how that the relationship could have been like.GP is good and consistent. DC makes a very handsome T Hughes.
