I wanted to give this 5 stars Grand Funk Railroad, because it was a banda FAVE of mine when I was much younger than today. Mark and is the largest ever born Slinger guitar, but does so in his new post in it. Unfortunately her voice is a bit flakey when it leads to places that are easily more than 30 years (or 25 years ago when this was filmed in 1999) or age Laryngitus ask?

With his 5 piece band that performs an hour’s worth of songs and glomerular filtration rate only one of his last years numbers alone. I would like to have seen some of its more “grown” rather than see the songs on it, 50 something, playing songs from when I was barely 20 something. Bassist in his backing vocals do a good job without exaggerating his hand, as the former vocalist and drummer Don Brewer undoubtedly make my humble opinion.

Therefore, an hour of songs a little past its useful life, except perhaps some kind of wonderful, compared to a rather modest crowd in the rain is what you see. If you are an old fan of GFR is likely to be a little on this DVD Plüss no wonder that Mark Farnen is / was. GFR at the time was a series of platinum albums and sold out the largest stadium ticket breaking records that had held the Beatles, they were the highest on Earth and banda what was missing in a musical that made the show .

A garage band that did well.

Elvis Costello/Allen Toussaint - Hot As A Pistol Elvis Costello teams with New Orleans legend Allen Toussaint for an impressive performance. There is a mixture of newsongs, rearranged songs by Elvis Costello and Allen Toussaint Toussaint songs.

Elvis puts in a passionate and political. The concert was a result of Hurricane Katrina and Costello obviously feels disapointed by the reaction of the Bush administration. I have never seen a video that coincides with the outcome still the feeling of being there at a concert by Elvis Costello, but this is about.

I would have liked to have seen more of Toussaint, but in general this is a great concert and well worth investing the time clock.

We have seen before, but poorer image quality, this DVD shows an appearance of the Beatles in Budokan martial arts hall in Tokyo 1966, in color, the images show the concert, The Beatles were only around 30 minutes doing a show in 1966! it shows the Beatles in a Black suits, red silk shirts, another concert from that day show blank PIN STRIPE jackets, saddly this is not on this DVD, despite the quality of Beatles, The - At the Budokan, Tokyo footage of the concert did not compensate for the inclusion of the second sample, the rest of the DVD shows The Beatles to be interviewed by the Japanese press, the amount is very poor, although some of it is in color and is fairly rare, some more interviews are shown after his return to the United Kingdom, these are short and some of poor quality. In the end not a bad DVD, very short, good quality color images is for the remainder.

Without the production of David Bowie, John Cale, the addition of Velvet credit, this is what really sounds like Lou, rough and somewhat plodding. That really rates his own guitar, in the end stating that it did physically levitate? but we are flying?

He can write brilliant songs and smart voice is a genre in itself, very expressive when it is in the area and type of the next song. But as a musician Lou Reed - A Night With Lou Reed it is rather poor.

My daughter, who actually rates the Dab Hands remix of Satellite of Love, which can not be reconciled with the overwhelming euphoria Tatty Dirge here. This is not their worst record in vivo and its exit from the documents before their great revival with his brilliant album from New York (after the death of Andy Warhols).

I have serious problems with the sound quality? anyone? s attempt to clean and is completely disordered.

Camp

The principle behind this film looks good and, unusually for this kind of theater, and has some interesting characters (with a couple very talented cast). However, at this point, the quality dropped severely.

The major plot twists were completely developed, some of the unusual, the development of a fundamental misunderstanding of human nature, and the plot twists that were consistent with the character can be seen by next Camp miles and fit into the typical clichés of the genre: the fat girl, the parents finally discovered their true value and beauty, when she heard singing, and “ugly” finally found a girl he liked her for it. In general, my impression is that the last time the writer was desperately trying to maintain their own interest in the film die with life - had little hope for mine!

Grease Karaoke

Grease Karaoke This has to be one of the worst things I’ve had the misfortune to hire. We expected something to do with the reality of fat that go beyond the printed words on the screen moving in time to music. The front image shows John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John who had hoped to see at least clips from the movie to go along to the songs, but unfortunately DISSAPOINTED.

The clips have been made, with poor quality Digicam I hasten to add, to be as cheap as possible and cheesy. Clips of the summer nights were shot in ’some beach U.S. “by a tourist-handed unstable and poor vision.

In general, the production values of this “record” are non-existent and I would recommend that you avoid at all costs this value, tasteless and useless disc. And thats me being generous!

Yellow Submarine

Yellow Submarine Yes, we all know that the words we all sang in Junior School, but we have all seen the movie? It appears in every Boxing Day on BBC2, incredulously enough but never seen (I am 28, not as I have lived in the 60s).

Now I am a huge Beatles fan, love and hard day’s Night, Help! Magical Mystery Tour and I thought well, I know that I will stick my list on Yellow Submarine.

If Beatles fan you will know that a sound is a bit dubious, murderer of a hand, the other fillers (including songs on side A Yellow Submarine, your mother should know, Hey Bulldog to name a few, in the instrumental music B side) so I thought the movie would be about the same. After all, the story goes that the Beatles were not too chuffed with the idea of a caricature, and only pledged their allegiance to him after the event. The premise of the film is that the Beatles (good) have to overcome the Blue Meanies (ill) and restore order to Pepperland.

Sounds simple enough, but not if it is 1968 and that may or may not have a lot of LSD during production. It is full of a bunch of classics from the Beatles to sing along with Lucy, as in the sky with diamonds, Eleanor Rigby and Yellow Submarine, obviously, (I can guarantee that the final swings in their seats singing) It’s a funny movie not most of the plots, but it’s a cartoon, after all, and offers a fascinating overview of the 60 life in all its psychedelic glory. I do not? Do not say you need to be a fan to enjoy the Beatles, but I’m sure that helps.

If you are playing with this by sticking to the list, well, you won? No regret! Boxing Day, and in 2004 around and see that Yellow Submarine is on BBC2, I know I’ll be sitting on my couch, mince pie in one hand, glass of Bailey? S in the other. Fortunately you do not have to wait until then, go to add to your list now!

This DVD is different from the first ‘Imagine’ as it was not edited by John and Yoko. Instead of getting a totally different look on the personality of these two characters. John and Yoko fans care - if you’re the kind of person who wants to believe is just a great Lennon and Yoko happy hippy his soul mate, then John Lennon - Gimme Some Truth You’ll be amazed at what you see …

Once persistent Ono always behind John as a puppy and is constantly expressing their views on how it should peform John & John tracks his losing his rag, and in general are impatient. An interesting movie, but if you like Lennon and wants to stay that way then i rate this dvd a no-no Yoko!

Having seen the documentary ‘A little skin, “when he was shown on BBC2 and have read both the Patrick Humphries and Trevor Dann biographies, I was not really expecting to find much that was new, as this is an unofficial news . And I was not wrong.

There was very little interest here. Bar interviews with Nick Mason’s friend and fellow musicians Jeremy John Renbourn and Ralph Mctell, this documentary focuses on the accounts of several speculative talking heads, most of which have nothing to do with Nick and never knew him. Do we really care what journalists Paphides Caitlin Moran or Peter have to say?

Err … But even worse are the contributions of Nick Drake ‘tribute’ folk singer and singer Kathryn Williams.

Absolutely terrible attempt both versions of the songs from Drake. Now not to blow my own trumpet, but I Nick Drake - Under Review been learning the songs of Nick on the guitar for 10 years and I know that do not play like that!

Sacrilege. Add to that the views of uncomfortable Trevor Dann (How can anyone DARE to slate an album of beauty, such as Luna Rosa!) And I can not imagine that this would appeal to anyone, even the most devoted fans like myself.

My wife struggled with the length of the movie too. After an hour and a half stuck with this boring very quickly lost the will to live!

I will not lose the rent - if you can find “a skin too few” everywhere (you can see parts of youtube) to verify that integration. There you will find interviews with the family of Nick, producers and friends that tell the real story, not what “might” or “maybe” was conceived as Nick.

Avoid this … is rubbish …

Romance And Cigarettes

Romance And Cigarettes Romance and Cigarettes is a strange and wonderful tale of the working class of New York, where love, (in) fidelity, redemption and all the implications collide. The songs are not at all ill or dominant (as I had feared) but rather in very dark and always gloriously surreal.

Kate Winslet is terrific as the slightly unhinged, very Northern temptation to fast-talking James Gandolfini perfectly imperfect sympathy and inspiring character. As a true testament to the man himself is not at all typecast by his Sopranos fame, and offers a brilliant understated performance, the use of comedy and tragedy without seeming to have to try that hard.

I believe that ultimately the only way to describe this film is not in terms of what happens, a kaleidoscopic fusion of random events and cabaret, but by how it makes you feel happy, sad, confused, inspired. A great cast, a large direct an amazing movie.

Funeral For A Friend - Spilling Blood In 8MM If you are not aware of them, are a screamo-ish type FFAF banda sound with a single … struggling to think of some bands sound like and everything that happens is that sometimes can sound like Iron Maiden, others a little faith … No more intricate guitar and melodic voice of a big move in silence the screams and guitar, something than nothing. Like someone said that is your bag then you’ll love this (in particular, performance of b-side ‘You Want Romance “has been one of my favorite songs since it was published). The sound of the live DVDs can be a little suspect, but the only complaint is that Kris and Darren genius riffs are not always as clear as they could be when things are heavy.

For all other probably just sound like noise and have a bunch of sweaty young men screaming. Top marks also for the credibility and image that is displayed Tourbus affable, charming character off drunk, drugged by idiots.
