The Mummy

The Mummy this film is superb. The mom has action, love, adventure, horror and comedy all in one excitingly, nail-biting, edge of the seat movie. It also has a kind of magical, exotic style feel about it too.

In ancient Egypt, a priest called Imohotep, had the courage to fall in love with the Pharaoh’s mistress called Anck Your Namun. after being discovered, Anck Your Namun kills herself, and after killing the Pharaoh Seti imohotep known to occur in Hom-Dai, the most dreaded of all curse.

is mummified alive, and is cursed to become one of the dead and suffering of all time. Unless of course, if someone is released from prison, then he is free.

then move towards the 1920s, where a group of treasure hunters and a group of archaeologists is to find the ancient city of Hamunaptra. adventurer, and ex. Foreign Legion soldier Rick leads Egyptologist Evelyn and her brother Jonathan to mysterious Hamunaptra.

Rick is a bit of an ‘Indiana Jones’ type character. Benny, Rick’s fellow foreign legion colleague, is a leader in the group of American treasure hunters, and another Egyptologist, who thinks he is better than Evelyn, only because she is a woman.

Benny made earlier on the dirty Rick. Unfortunately, rival group of careless American adventurers, free Imhotep’s mummy from his prison eternal therefore accidentally awaken the ancient evil. are in a race against time to save their own skins, and the world at large.

The special effects in this movie are excellent. While Jonathan is very interested in finding the legendary Egyptian treasures, Evelyn wants to search the Book of Life that is made of gold.

this book would clarify a lot in historical knowledge, about the ancient Egyptians. Imhotep wants to bring Ankh namun back to life by using Evelyn’s body, but also wants to rid the world of the infidel people of democracy, to enforce his tyrannical dictatorship.

It is worth renting.

Steamboy

I chose this film at random. So it was a great surprise to find a Japanese film set in Britain not to mention my hometown of Manchester.

But the treatment was soon Anna Paquin sour when he opened his characters voice. I love acting, but the people of the production has never been clear to the North.

She sounded half English, half of South Africa. Really thought the accent sounded just completely false. Do not bother me that a woman uses to make a child Steamboy voice, but how difficult it is going to choose someone from the region?

So put me out of my mind alowing to escape and go to the history of fantasy. This was because the story has many plot holes and little horror / suspense.

The only scene that has these two principles was to steam when the boy walks wheel thingy. All that said, I think the movie is worth seeing. I left for a quiet Sunday afternoon, however.

The Fog Of War

Documentarian Errol Morris directs the fog of war, a fascinating look at Robert S. McNamara, who served as Secretary of Defense during the Vietnam War and the Cuban missile crisis. The film does not focus exclusively on this part of McNamara’s career, however, and instead gives an overview of the man was, his multitude of roles - a graduate of Harvard Business School, a colonel in the Air Force during World War II, president of Ford Motor Company - and their views on a variety of historical themes.

Inspired by the author of two books The Fog Of War by McNamara - in retrospect (1995) and Wilson’s Ghost (2001) - Morris gives McNamara a forum to discuss the decisions made and the influence he had during his career. At age 85, McNamara has gained necessary perspective to do just that. Sharp as a tack, loaded with charisma, and generally fascinating, McNamara easily carries the film with his revealing interviews.

Meanwhile, the use of archival Morris - along with maps and other effective visual aids - add context to McNamara’s commentary, Philip Glass and ominous pulsing score gives the film’s major theme of the seriousness it deserves.

Anger Management

Anger Management The performance is to highlight the role played by John Turturro (who it must be said) only seems to make a better movie … But that is the one highlight in what is otherwise a very poor follow up to ‘As Good as It Gets “- a better title for this film might be” as bad as it gets’ (hopefully) for the two actors Adam Sandler and Jack Nicholson, 2 players who have undoubtedly much, much better movies than this one.

While the love (or ideally both) of them do (like me) this movie and spend a couple of hours is slightly amusing, if not rent “The Wedding Singer” and “As Good as It Gets” again and get the opportunity to see two great actors and great films …

Sin

Sin Another story of a good cop with a bad attitude, which has a bad nemissis out to get him. The story is very tired but will work well for those who have seen many films. There nt were a couple of savimg with this, however, that (if not very memorable) at least worth seeing.

Key actors and Ving Rymes super bad Garry Oldman is absolutely magnificent as ever. Interaction, respect and hatred that both players pass to each other carracters there is nothing short of brilliant, and very credible. Finally, violence and underhandedness limits of both sides is a nice touch, having the most difficult to face in the French style delivery. The also folows the biggest European-style, that gray area between good and evil.

The title is deliberately misleading, I expected a very different movie, but I’m delighted with a beautiful British film. It has a cast of some of the best British actors around doing what they do best.

It is brilliantly written and the editing is excellent. I was enthralled by these stories that show the many facets of the face of love. There was never a moment when I found Scenes Of A Sexual Nature I drift, I was interested in the characters and interaction between them, the subtle sense, the intelligent writing and editing - I love this movie!

Also, do not miss the extras. The completion of the documentary is really interesting and shows what can be achieved if “thinking outside the box ‘.

There is also a very funny short film. A great piece of modern British cinema - you have to see this movie!

The Fog Of War

The Fog Of War While many of the policies of McNamara and much of its policy were controversial and devastating, in retrospect, one can not but admire his honesty. His integrity, both when in power and looking back on her life is refreshing.

The film’s structure, as a series of lessons learned by a man who, during a period of several years, literally took the world on his shoulders, it serves to preserve humanity McNamara, ensuring the film is not just shocking, but also extremely mobile. In a political climate of fear and terror, not dissimilar to the experience of Cuba during the missile crisis, the film is impressive resonance.

Tootsie

Dustin Hoffman is sublime as the experience, but the unemployed actor who has to be a woman in order to obtain work. The best thing this film has to be convincing women to Dorothy Hoffman alter ego.

She is nice and cozy and not afraid to defend itself. It is interesting to see the film refer to the fighting men and women when the main character is both.

Although I was annoyed with the old stereotypes of women and found it slightly sexist that Dorothy Tootsie is the only strong and independent woman in the film and she is not even a woman! However, this is good fun to see how Hoffman moves through the usual waiting capers in the story of a man pretending to be a woman with ideas and a subtle blend of both humor and some great moments of laughter in speech high.

This is the movie that the cross bar for all subsequent films of dress. It also has Hoffman, Bill Murray as a room mate that personally, I can not get enough of!

Don’t Come Knocking

I loved this film, which was nice and had a nice soundtrack. The performances were a great cast of my favorite actors. it took you to a part of dust blowing, is not much of America where a street full of broken furniture does not raise an eyebrow!

When I looked at the reviews, which were filled with great anger that could make a Wim Wenders Don t Come Knocking film that is ultimately meaningless. I do not think so, and for once, he has no loops.

It made me smile and left me with a few choice phrases and images. How often we must continue with our lives, not to note the great plan, until they wake up one day without knowing what we are?

See - this can make you think!

Hannibal

Unfortunately, while a pretty good movie, Hannibal was a hard act to follow in the silence of the lambs, and I am afraid that did not match my opinion.Hopkins, as always, is a great actor, but I felt the Script allow you to beat bad. Also the absence of Jodie Foster as Clarice Starling detract from this effort are not yet also.I Hannibal 2RD to see the film, Red Dragon, but he said it is a clear improvement over it, maybe even better than the first, but we will only see.The high places for me in this film is magnificent Hopkins and Ray Liotta, who was never surprising.

Unfortunately, not enough to lift this into the realms of perfection it reached the previous film.

Casino Royale

Bond. Predominantly male in a household that I have attended all of them, the DVD, the TV repeats, clockwatched in the movies, sometimes more interested in Mr. Connery.

Until now. This my Bond, and that’s what I think many Bond fans do not like Die Hard.

Girls are trampling their men to get this DVD. A new generation of fans who have and handbags. Daniel Craig is awesome, have read all the blocks, sand, etc male

For me is that he is the man who may be injured and the man who can hurt. This is a film that can stand alone in their own right.

Casino Royale Loved it from beginning to end. Eva Green - the unconventional Bond Girl is fantastic, your heart is broken and left open.

But Bond is not supposed to be about the romance they are? I mean if ever a girl.

Once again, goes against the grain. So what of the plot? Well you know it took a while to unravel, but I got there, reeling from the airport scene slowly dawned on me.

I do not understand poker and do not want, but I was happy to see the face of poker Craig. Is violent, very violent, but not for the sake of it. Is love.
