Carefully Selected From The Pool Of Greats

Irreversible

Irreversible Exceptional. A word of warning, however, the scenes are very graphic, violent and sexual.

Without spoiling the movie the scenes were like watching a car crash, you know you shouldn’t, but …….. There have been no such scenes in movies before, but never so graphic and brutal. We do not realize that when a woman is attacked, ie what is an attack.

The film is a masterpiece just the realization of 1 / 4 in the film what happened. You already know the conclusion, but you know something bad will happen. I hope that Americans are stupid not to try to make a Hollywood version of it.

Happiness Of The Katakuris I think I have been witness to see this film in the first steps of a new genre films. God knows what would be called? A surreal musical perhaps?

ISN, but the idea of people suddenly bursting into the song and dance routines surrealista anyway? Perhaps Horra soap-opera will be enough?

Maybe not, whatever moniker to hang on this film that s certainly different, but that does not necessarily work either as a piece of cinema. If, like me, who do not like sand, you will find the musical song and dance routines very boring, very quickly segueing between the real action and animated sequences is rather pointless and adds nothing to the film as a spectacle than that with s the initial impact. S Is it possible that some comments on the characters are puppets of circumstance, but it is clear that much anyway.

The act is not surprising, given the topic a bit hysterical at that times. But sa brave stab by the director of the Hearing equally bizarre to do something original and then the mixture of horror, family drama, comedy and music is undoubtedly different. Imagine The Sound of Music re-written by Wes Craven s o Walton led by David Lynch.

The problem is that no longer work well in reality not enough on any level is really memorable, or worthy of repeated viewings. A fine, but anything outside of entertainment to make a song and dance about.

Full Time Killer

More stylized junk. I was expecting a decent action movie, but was dissappointed. This does not come close to a film like The Killer.

2 sicarios Ponce in this draft about the people in broad daylight - and most of their trips on foot - walk away on a gentle pace!. No Full Time Killer a policeman in sight!

When you come across some policemen who, of course, go out and shoot away even though they have made some 30 odd firearms discharged into them. Once again, I thought the action scenes were poorly done. The only remotely entertaining parts of this film when trying to speak English :-).

Deep In The Woods

The film begins with a reading of Red Riding Hood. It’s simple but stylish and raised my hopes for the rest of the film. But what follows is a pretty standard stalk and slash film that does not create any tension or of great horror.

A group of young actors are used to perform Little Red Riding Hood for the lonely son of an aristocrat. A murderer enters the fray and use the mansion as his stalking ground isolation. My biggest problem with this film is never the sense that the characters were scared or worried about your situation.

The mansion of the film is impressive, but when a murderer is loose in the hope that their Deep In The Woods attempted escape of the victims not to admire the place. The victims are so soft and so similar to those of a hundred other films that are likely to be living on site and did not win very soon.

In the end, probably not gained attention. If you are looking for blood, look elsewhere. Only one of the dead is memorable, the rest can be described as functional.

In general this is a horror film of poor quality along the lines of: I know what you did last summer and Valentine. It uses a tired concept and brings nothing new in their execution. It may seem more elegant, but the soft substance.

If you want to recommend a best French horror Mellemspændingsprodukter (Switchblade Romance).

Infernal Affairs

Wow, what an incredible movie! “Internal Affairs” is fascinating from beginning to end with a fantastic cast, non stop action and a brilliant story.

This is the best cop movie I’ve seen - much better than any Hollywood action movie and even better than John Woo! That’s right, I said it! I urge you to see this film is a fantastic journey to go - even before the credits have rolled over history we have experienced Infernal Affairs Some films are spread in 2 hours!

Andy Lau and Tony Leung are great as the lead role - a twist on the good cop / bad cop characters. The movie addresses the moral dilemmas that give weight to the action, the cinematography is brilliant and the intensity of atnosphere jumps off the screen.

I have not seen a movie this good in a long time - I can not recommend enough! Truly a masterpiece.

Full time score: -1 Hollywood Hong Kong - None.

very entertaining, very original, a story of bad luck that a man waking in a room without knowing how it got there or who put it there and then have to spend 15 years of his life in that country. there are subtitles, but usually forget them after about 15 minutes and nearly goes straight to the action. Much of what shows graphic images going crazy in the cell, and then go to management and fight your way to finding the truth …

definitely not for the faint hearted. Give it a spin you will not be disappointed.

I liked this film / documentary. It is quite evident that the end result will be that people are allowed to fast food. I can not imagine that most services in this world, is large in time, a sense of fulfillment and well-being, and then follows the inevitable ‘down’ from on high I was alone.

Also, all vices are inherently bad for you - that kind of goes with the definition of the word? Unfortunately, due to the fact that this is an American film, that message seems necessary to explain everything. The damage that man does to himself is simply amazing as are some of the facts emerging from the experts.

The large amount of fat, Super Size Me sugar and calories that are consumed in their Macky D are frightening. And that is what you get from this film, the facts know that fund, but do not really want to hear.

This film could have been about smoking, drugs, extreme sports, etc, but they choose fast food. And the child, make the figure as its fast food.

You hear that only 1 type to eat Big Mac in the last three years. It’s good, but this really could have been condensed into an hour-long documentary.

This is too much to fill your state length film, but I would recommend this rental. The changes that happen to this man, both physically and mentally are amazing!

A new fan of Kim Ki Duk, since the discovery of Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter, I am a little intrigued to see their previous work. And was surprised.

Once again it is the master of image and sensation. Such intense feelings. This is a love story, like his other films, but a love so deformed The Isle and spring cruel.Like etc

its value is in a lake. And you’re thinking Buddhist calm, no!

This is a basic human angry beings. There ’s desire is to become the head. And the consequences of not loving. And small boats in large lakes.

And movements in the dark. Underwater ghosts, and silence.

Scenes From A Marriage

Originally considered a Swedish six part TV series and later for the stage, scenes from a marriage is a raw and without looking at the fragility of human relationships. Focusing almost exclusively on a partner? S marriage scenes is not the easiest to watch movies and made me find my concentration wandering more than once. The pace of the film is very slow and deliberate, alternating between long passages Scenes From A Marriage mundane dialogue and emotional bursts of brutal conflict.

Hematoma psychological, physical, and sometimes the meetings were brought to life by some intensely two wonderful performances by Ullmann and Josephson. Defenses of Bergman? S work will undoubtedly be captivated by the intense drama that is the dysfunctional relationship as before, but reveals the strong nature of the material can deter most casual viewer.

4 / 5. (Subtitles? Easy to read.

Extras? usual filmographies, film and film notes notes).

The Idiots

The Idiots Lars von Trier, you can make a film, but this is not one of them. All you spassing ‘about what might be acceptable if it means something, but not here. The unlucky teenager high in the search for authenticity would be bad enough if it were not for the endless nods in the opposite direction, towards a real world where “normality” can mean compassion, kindness and plain grown behavioral .

We are going to sympathize with the grief or loathe ’spass’-banda? It is not clear, but one is left with a trash can full of mixed messages, the type that can be any day on TV. The film gets two for the orgy scene, the kind of idiocy that any fool can see!

The Seventh Seal

I started to see this film and just can not take seriously: the hammy actors, the strange / budget / unfunny (where it is supposed to be funny) to the scene ends with an indication of the bleeding obvious … but perhaps the worst part of it is pretentious to the depth of it all! It is very difficult to try, I sense that Bergman was simply showing his own philosophy of concerts - it would have been better sitting in a room talking about God to make this movie.

This is not just hit a genus: I loved Marketa Lazarova, a black and white Czech film set in medieval times, and other “difficult” black and white movies like Werckmeister Harmonies. Marketa Lazarova on there The Seventh Seal was not the dialogue that was a lot of messages and the implicit tension between the main characters. Also things not because of his deep throat - everything was so understated that wash over you.

Seventh Seal is the opposite, and I had to stop watching halfway through. The fact that both have been pastiches made me initially think that it should be a good film, but now I know it’s taking the mickey because it is so easy! However, this is a film so concerned about its structure (foreign language, black and white, medieval) that overcompensates for spoonfeeding the audience when they should have just kept his thoughts to himself.

Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter And Spring I will not give away the (rare) the plot, except to say that revolves around the development from childhood to maturity of a Buddhist monk, who struggles to maintain his detachment in the face of an attractive young woman. The simple but evocative landscape provides much of the fascinating atmosphere of this film, with the reflection of the changing seasons development. Some child may find the film slow and with little action.

For me it was like a piece of poetry or a Zen koan (the sound of one hand clapping?) Ponder. If something you want something less frantic and more contemplative than Hollywood has to offer, give this one a try. Do not be discouraged by the subtitles, there’s not much of the dialogue …
