Year 1817. In a remote village, the Vurdalak steals children in the darkness. Lorenzo sets off to hunt it down to save his son. Alone at home, Margarita faces fear, isolation, and a cruel impossible decision. Between gothic horror and social drama, the film reveals the invisible struggle of so many women in conflicts: to sustain life when everything is falling apart.
Année 1817. Dans un village reculé, le Vurdalak vole des enfants dans l’obscurité. Lorenzo part à sa chasse pour sauver son fils. Seule à la maison, Margarita fait face à la peur, à l’isolement et à une décision cruellement impossible. Entre terreur gothique et drame social, le film révèle la lutte invisible de tant de femmes dans les conflits : soutenir la vie quand tout s’effondre.

Alberto Cano realiza aquí su segunda incursión en el cortometraje tras dirigir Franceska, ganadora de 17 premios internacionales y candidata oficial a los premios Goya.
Tras 25 años en el sector de la animación y participando como supervisor en la franquicia de Tadeo Jones, vuelve a dirigir otro cortometraje que mezcla terror y animación con una historia gótica al más puro estilo de la Hammer Film.
Alberto Cano makes his second foray into short films here, after directing Franceska, which won 17 international awards and was an official nominee for the Goya Awards.
After 25 years in the animation industry and working as a supervisor on the Tadeo Jones franchise, he returns to directing with another short film that blends horror and animation in a gothic story in the purest Hammer Film style.
Alberto Cano réalise ici sa deuxième incursion dans le court métrage après avoir dirigé Franceska, gagnante de 17 prix internationaux et candidate officielle aux prix Goya.
Après 25 ans dans le secteur de l’animation et en participant en tant que superviseur à la franchise de Tadeo Jones, il revient pour diriger un autre court métrage qui mélange l’horreur et l’animation avec une histoire gothique dans le pur style de la Hammer Film.
