Paula Romero es directora, productora y guionista hispano-británica de origen andaluz. Fundó la productora Santa Paciencia Films al volver de Inglaterra, desde donde impulsa proyectos. Licenciada en Periodismo y Máster en Producción Documental (University of the West of England), cuenta con ocho años de experiencia en producción y dirección para BBC, HBO Max, Apple TV, Netflix y Discovery Channel. Dirigió Mothertruckers, candidato a los Goya y al Premio Carmen de la Academia de Cine Andaluz.
Paula Romero is a Spanish-British director, producer and screenwriter. Upon returning from England, she founded the production company Santa Paciencia Films, through which she develops and produces projects. She holds a degree in Journalism and an MA in Documentary Production (University of the West of England). She has eight years of experience in production and directing, working for the BBC, HBO Max, Apple TV and Netflix. She directed Mothertruckers, which was shortlisted for the Goya Awards.
