Director de dos largometrajes: «Lady Off» (premiere en el Festival de San Sebastián, 2018) y «La Noche del Ratón» (Festival de Santa Bárbara, 2015). De esta última está pendiente de estreno su remake en inglés, producido en 2022 por Alexandre Aja: «Night of the Hunted». También en 2022, David trabaja la adaptación a miniserie de la novela «La Familia Interrumpida», del escritor mexicano Eloy Urroz, proyecto que cuenta como productor creativo con Guillermo Arriaga («Babel», «21 gramos»).
