MANUELA (7), sueña con la celebración del día de la Independencia en su escuela y la posibilidad de ganar el concurso del “mejor vestido folclórico”. Mientras, su hermano GABO (16), enfrenta el riesgo de protestar en las calles esperando acabar con la dictadura del Chile de 1988.
Seven-year-old Manuela dreams of winning the «best folkloric dress» contest in the commemoration of Independence Day at her school. Meanwhile, her brother Gabo (16) takes the risk of protesting in the streets for the plebiscite that will put end to the dictatorship of Chile in 1988.
Manuela (7 ans) rêve de la célébration de la fête nationale dans son école où elle gagnerait le concours du «meilleur costume folklorique». Pendant ce temps son frère Gabo (16 ans) s’expose aux risques des manifestations dans l’espoir d’en terminer avec la dictature de 1988 au Chili.

Actualmente desarrolla lo que será su primer largometraje “Desierto Rosa”, beneficiario en dos ocasiones del Ministerio de Cultura en Chile, seleccionado por CDPAI 2022 (Fundación Carolina en España), Cine Qua Non Lab (México) y ESTE LAB (Perú).
Award-winning director and screenwriter, with more than 15 years of film experience in projects made worldwide. She’s currently developing her first feature “Desierto Rosa”, recipient in two occasions of Chilean Ministry of Culture’s funds. Selected for «CDPAI 2022» sponsored by Fundación Carolina (Spain), «Cine Qua Non-Lab» (Mexico) and ESTE LAB (Perú).
Réalisatrice et scénariste primée, elle a plus de 15 ans d’expérience dans des projets audiovisuels dans le monde entier. Elle travaille actuellement sur son premier long métrage, «Désert rose», qui a été financé à deux reprises par le ministère de la culture chilien. Le projet a été sélectionné pour le «CDPAI 2022» (Fundación Carolina, Espagne), le Cine Qua Non Lab (Mexique) et l’ESTE LAB (Pérou).
