Esther Casas Roura, cineasta conocida por combinar historias metafóricas y animación, hizo su transición de una carrera en Biología Molecular en Barcelona, a cine y animación en Nueva York, donde fundó Claymaniak Studios. Esther dirigió y produjo «Check Date: An Underdog Love Story» (2008), «Creamen» (2013), ganando 12 premios internacionales, y «Flocky». Ahora Esther está trabajando en su primer largometraje, «Tao», que une sus identidades, como científica y narradora.
Esther Casas Roura is a celebrated filmmaker known for blending metaphorical storytelling with animation. After transitioning from a career in Molecular Biology in Barcelona, she moved to New York and became a filmmaker, establishing Claymaniak Studios. Esther directed and produced «Check Date, An Underdog Love Story» (2008), «Creamen» (2013), which won 12 film awards, and «Flocky» (2024). She is now working on her first feature «Tao», bridging her dual identities as a scientist and storyteller.
Esther Casas Roura, cinéaste connue pour combiner histoires métaphoriques et animation, est passée d’une carrière en biologie moléculaire à Barcelone au cinéma et à l’animation à New York, où elle a fondé Claymaniak Studios. Esther a réalisé et produit « Check Date : An Underdog Love Story » (2008), « Creamen » (2013), qui a remporté 12 prix internationaux, et « Flocky ». Esther travaille actuellement sur son premier long métrage, «Tao», qui unit ses identités de scientifique et de conteuse.
