The day Joana dares to look at herself in the mirror without masks, she discovers a first truth: the way out lies within, and only the mad ones understand these words. Who am I? What happens when I journey through the depths of my being? Are we merely a physical body? And what about love, from which corner of myself I bring it into consciousness?
Le jour où Joana ose se regarder dans le miroir sans masques, une première vérité lui est révélée ; la sortie est à l’intérieur, et seuls les fous sont capables de comprendre ces mots. Qui suis-je ? Que se passe-t-il lorsque je voyage dans les profondeurs de mon être ? Sommes-nous seulement cela, un corps physique ? Et l’amour, depuis quel coin de moi, en suis-je consciente ?

She’s the co-founder of the production company Antivaho Cinematográfico. She wrote and directed the feature-length documentary It’s never so dark, produced by Únicamente Severo Films, which received notable acclaim from audiences. She wrote, directed, and produced the short film Panthers, premiered at the 70th Berlinale in the Generation 14Plus section. The film was selected in over 80 international festivals and received various awards.
Cofondatrice de la société de production Antivaho Cinematográfico, elle a écrit et réalisé le long métrage documentaire Mai és tan fosc, produit par Únicamente Severo Films, qui a reçu un accueil remarquable de la part du public. Elle a écrit, réalisé et produit le court métrage Panteres, présenté en première à la 70e Berlinale. Le film a été sélectionné dans plus de 80 festivals internationaux et a reçu plusieurs prix.
