Luca, un joven fotógrafo, llega a una aldea asturiana para trabajar en un proyecto artístico. Allí se hospeda con Xuan, un veterano quesero marcado por un pasado de rumores y prejuicios. A través de la cámara de Luca y el oficio de Xuan, ambos descubren inesperadas conexiones, en un íntimo encuentro entre dos mundos aparentemente opuestos.
Luca, a young photographer, arrives in a village in Asturias to work on an artistic project. There, he stays with Xuan, an experienced cheesemaker marked by a past full of rumors and prejudices. Through Luca’s camera and Xuan’s craft, they both discover unexpected connections in an intimate encounter between two seemingly opposing worlds.
Luca, un jeune photographe, arrive dans un village des Asturies pour un projet artistique. Là, il séjourne chez Xuan, un fromager marqué par un passé de rumeurs et de préjugés. À travers l’objectif de Luca et le métier de Xuan, ils découvrent des connexions inattendues, lors d’une rencontre intime entre deux mondes apparemment opposés.

Roberto F. Canuto y Xu Xiaoxi, graduados en Comunicación Audiovisual y Bellas Artes, iniciaron su colaboración en un máster de dirección en Los Ángeles. Su trayectoria incluye trabajos en EE. UU., China y España. Destaca Ciruela de agua dulce, presentada en 50 países y con más de 30 premios, incluyendo selecciones en Raindance y Seminci. En su obra exploran las raíces culturales y abordan la diversidad y el colectivo LGBTIQ+ desde una perspectiva global y artística.
Roberto F. Canuto and Xu Xiaoxi, graduates in Audiovisual Communication and Fine Arts, began their collaboration in an MFA program in Los Angeles. Their career includes works in the USA, China, and Spain. Their short film Sunken Plum premiered in 50 countries and won more than 30 awards, including selections at Raindance and Seminci. In their work, they explore cultural roots and address diversity and the LGBTIQ+ community from a global and artistic perspective.
Roberto F. Canuto et Xu Xiaoxi, diplômés en Communication Audiovisuelle et en Beaux-Arts, ont commencé leur collaboration dans un master de réalisation à Los Angeles. Leur parcours inclut des travaux aux États-Unis, en Chine et en Espagne. Leur court-métrage Prune d’eau douce été présenté dans 50 pays et remporté plus de 30 prix, dont des sélections à Raindance et Seminci. Dans leur œuvre, ils explorent les racines culturelles et abordent la diversité et la communauté LGBTIQ+.
