Joan Martín Giménez cursó sus estudios de animación e Ilustración en la «Escola d’Art i Superior de Disseny Pau Gargallo». Allí empezó su recorrido como director, con el «El Vespre» su primer cortometraje realizado con la técnica Stop-Motion, el cual ha ganado varios premios. Su siguiente proyecto fue el cortometraje expresionista «Candyhearts» también realizado en Stop-Motion. CandyHearts estuvo en más de cien festivales.
Joan Martín Giménez studied at the «Escola d’Art i Superior de Disseny Pau Gargallo». His first short films were «El Vespre» and «Candyhearts» both made in Stop-Motion. CandyHearts was selected in more than a hundred festivals including Sitges, Gijón, Málaga, the «Sacramento Horror Film Festival» and the «Fargo Film Festival». Winning several national and international awards. The following years he has been combining his work as illustrator and animator with a role of art director.
