A nahual emerges in animal form to deliver a warning: the land of Yucatán is being wounded and desecrated. As the Maya train megaproject continues, Falú confronts his identity and sense of belonging, caught between preserving his roots and the forces that threaten to erase them.

Diana Toucedo, cineasta y montadora, trabaja en la intersección entre cine e investigación. Su obra ha sido seleccionada en festivales como la Berlinale, San Sebastián, Visions du Réel, Nara, Sao Paulo o DocLisboa. Ha montado más de 35 largometrajes, premiados en IDFA, Rotterdam, Cannes o Moscú. Su debut Trinta Lumes se estrenó en la Berlinale 2018, está a punto de cerrar su segundo largometraje Puerto Deseado y en desarrollo del tercero.
Diana Toucedo, filmmaker and editor, works at the intersection of cinema and research. Her work has been selected at festivals such as the Berlinale, San Sebastián, Visions du Réel, Nara, São Paulo, and DocLisboa. She has edited over 35 feature films, awarded at IDFA, Rotterdam, Cannes, and Moscow. Her debut Trinta Lumes premiered at the Berlinale 2018; she is currently finalizing her second feature Puerto Deseado and developing her third.
