Sagrario, gran devota de las torrijas, su familia y la Virgen del pueblo, se siente abandonada cuando sus nietos se apuntan a la próxima procesión. Celosa de la energía y buen hacer que todo el pueblo parece profesar a la Virgen procesionaria, decide tomar cartas en el asunto y luchar por la dosis de cariño que le corresponde.
Sagrario is a devotee of traditional homemade sweets and her family. When her grandchildren sign up for the next Holy Week celebrations, she starts feeling lonely. Jealous of the energy and good work that everybody seems to profess to the Virgin statue, Sagrario decides to fight for the dose of love that she deserves.
Sagrario, grande dévote des torrijas et de sa famille, se sent abandonnée lorsque ses petits-enfants participent à la prochaine Semaine Sainte. Jalouse de l’énergie et du bon travail que tout le village semble consacrer à la Vierge processionnaire, elle décide de se battre pour obtenir l’affection qui lui est due.

Lidia Esteban y Jesús Alarcón estudiaron en Madrid y tienen dos gatas que se odian. En el cortometraje «Acabar la Tesis» empezaron a colaborar, después dirigieron juntos «Planta de plástico» y en 2023 escribieron y dirigieron «Mártir». Por su trabajo conjunto han recibido premios a mejor guion, mejor dirección y mejor cortometraje. Actualmente se encuentran escribiendo su primer largo. Si no funciona, escribirán su segundo largo. Si tampoco funciona, su tercero. Total, el papel todo lo aguanta.
Lidia Esteban and Jesús Alarcón studied in Madrid and have two cats that hate each other. In the short film «PhD» they began to collaborate, then they directed «Plastic Plant» together and in 2023 they wrote and directed «Martyr». For their work together they have received awards for best script, best direction, and best short film. They are currently writing their first feature film script. If it doesn’t work, they’ll write their second feature film script.
