El escritor Francisco Umbral recibe durante la escritura de su libro MORTAL Y ROSA, la trágica noticia de que su hijo de 5 años ha sido diagnosticado de leucemia. A partir de ese momento la narración en su obra casi onírica transita entre la ficción y la realidad en un vano intento de devolver la vida a ese niño.
While writing his book A MORTAL SPRING (MORTAL Y ROSA), Spanish writer Francisco Umbral receives the tragic news about his 5-year-old son being diagnosed with leukemia. From that moment on, his almost dreamlike narrative transitions between fiction and reality in a vain attempt to bring the child back to life.
L’écrivain espagnol Francisco Umbral Alors qu’il écrit son livre MORTAL Y ROSA, reçoit la tragique nouvelle que son fils de 5 ans est atteint d’une leucémie. Dès lors, son récit, presque onirique, oscille entre fiction et réalité, dans une vaine tentative de ramener l’enfant à la vie.
