On May 21st, the nominations for the 2025 Fugaz Awards, the most prestigious accolades for Spanish short films, were announced, and once again, the Selected Films catalogue has had a notable presence among the finalists.
In total, 17 short films distributed by Selected Films have been nominated across various categories, gathering over 40 nominations. The most prominent recognition went to Una cabeza en la pared, which leads this edition with 9 nominations, including Best Short Film.
Other notable titles include Líbranos del mal (5 nominations), Donde se quejan los pinos and El otro (4 each), as well as Cuando llega el frío and Ne me quitte pas, both with 3 nominations.
